Here’s a recipe that you can use all over your home:

Ingredients

• 10 Drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
• 2 Cups Water
• 2-3 Drops of Mild Detergent (Liquid Castile Soap)

Directions

1. Put the mix into a spray bottle
2. Spray on any non-porous surface. Leave the spray on the surface for as long as possible, up to one hour.
3. Then simply wipe with a dry cloth.

This is a great spray to use in your shower, bathtub or toilet to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria. Tea tree oil is also a powerful mold and mildew fighter. Put 3-4 drops in with your next load of laundry. This will prevent the growth of mold and mildew on bath towels, kitchen cloths and damp sportswear. And as a bonus, it will also help keep your washer clean.
