MASCULINE ESSENTIAL OILS TO CREATE YOUR OWN BLENDS

Essential oils may seem like they could be a girly type thing, but really they don't discriminate on sex. If blended right, you can find a scent for anyone, men included! While any essential oil can be blended into any cologne or perfume, these are some essential oils that tend to be favored more often by men:

Citrus – Bergamot, Grapefruit, Lemon, Lime, Orange

Herbaceous – Basil, Coriander, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Lemongrass, Peppermint, Rosemary, Sage, Tea tree

Rich Base Notes – Frankincense, Oakwood, Sandalwood, Vanilla

Spice – Black pepper, Cardamom, Cinnamon Leaf (use leaf instead of bark for all topical applications, cinnamon bark is too irritating to put on the skin), Clove Bud, Ginger, Nutmeg

Woods – Black Spruce, Cedarwood, Cypress, Fir Needle, Pine, Juniper Berry

DIY NATURAL MEN'S COLOGNE

Depending on which type of cologne your guy is willing to use, I have given both an oil based version and a water based spray version. While the spray is more often used these days, the oil based one will have a longer lingering scent than the water based one!

Oil Base Ingredients:

• 2 Tbsp Grapeseed Oil
• Essential Oil Blend 
• 20 dropsVitamin E
• 1 oz Glass Dropper Bottle

Water Spray Base Ingredients:

• 1 Tbsp Witch Hazel
• 1 Tsp Aloe Vera Gel (Optional)
• Essential Oil Blend x 2 
• 2 oz Spray Bottle
• Filtered Water to Fill

Oil Directions:

1. Add essential oils to the glass bottle, follow with a carrier oil to fill. Cap and gently swish to combine.
2. To use: dab a couple drops of cologne to your pressure points (neck, wrists, behind the ears, etc.)

Water Spray Directions:

1. Combine ingredients in a 2 oz spray bottle and add water to fill.
2. Shake before use!

MEN'S COLOGNE ESSENTIAL OIL BLENDS

There are tons of combinations that you can combine to create just the right rugged scent you are looking for! If you don't like any of the options presented here, you can always substitute your own favorites and create a custom scent like no other!

Man of The Woods:

• 5 Drops Fir Needle
• 3 Drops Pine
• 5 Drops Juniper Berry
• 10 Drops Cedarwood

5 O'Clock Shadow:

• 5 Drops Eucalyptus
• 8 Drops Grapefruit
• 10 Drops Orange
• 3 Drops Lime

Raven:

• 10 Drops Black Pepper
• 3 Drops Clove Bud
• 5 Drops Sandalwood
• 3 Drops Nutmeg
• 5 Drops Lemon

Mountain Man:

• 3 Drops Peppermint
• 8 Drops Juniper Berry
• 8 Drops Fir Needle
• 8 Drops Cypress
