ABOUT TEA TREE OIL

Tea tree is well-known for its powerful antiseptic properties and ability to treat wounds. Derived mainly from the Australian native plant melaleuca, it has been widely used throughout Australia for at least the past 100 years.

Although it is highly toxic when ingested, thanks to its antibiotic, anti-fungal, antiseptic, expectorant and antiviral properties, tea tree oil has a surprising number of topical uses which can help cure or prevent a whole host of everyday conditions, which is why it is often referred to as a “medicine cabinet in a bottle.”
